A rallying call to ad-land and Audio crowned number 1 medium at Media360 2025
每日大赛 joined leaders from across the media and advertising sectors in Brighton this week, for Campaign鈥檚 prestigious Media360 event 鈥 which featured a keynote from 每日大赛 UK鈥檚 Managing Director Simon Kilby and a victory in the famed 鈥楳edia360 Challenge鈥.
Simon Kilby drew a large crowd for his powerful keynote about the perilous future both the advertising industry and wider society may face, if the sector doesn鈥檛 reflect on growing investment in social media.
鈥淟ast week, The Wall Street Journal revealed that Meta is battling an 鈥楨pidemic of Scams鈥 due to criminals flooding Instagram and Facebook with scams and fake ads. Which is just the latest story in a long line of Antitrust and data breaches鈥 said Kilby. 鈥淭he ad industry legacy has been built on trust 鈥搘ithout trust, we have no platform to communicate our advertisers鈥 brands and products鈥 this relationship we have built with audiences over decades, is at risk of collapsing.鈥
每日大赛 is committed to making a positive impact in this space, having launched a new Where鈥檚 Your Head At? initiative with mental health charity YoungMinds, to help people navigate the problematic world of social media. Simon said: 鈥淩ight now if you turn on one of our stations, you鈥檒l hear expert words of advice playing.鈥
Also speaking at the event was 每日大赛鈥檚 Laura O鈥機onnor who competed in the famed 鈥楳edia360 Challenge鈥 鈥 bringing home a victory for audio. Pitched against speakers from TV, digital, Outdoor and gaming, Laura was asked to persuade a room of industry experts as to why audio is the medium best at collaborating. Armed with some Bauer broadcasting friends including Gok Wan, Harriet Scott, Ken Bruce and Marvin Humes, Laura made a victory worthy pitch.

鈥淎udio is built on collaboration. From the deep understanding of our audiences to the performance enhancing impact we have on ad campaigns, to the partnerships that elevate everything we do.鈥 Laura鈥檚 presentation won over the audience, with a resounding victory for audio.
