European Broadcasters Unite for New Audio campaign, Connected Journeys

聽Landmark movement will聽run across broadcasters聽reaching聽180 million listeners and aims to celebrate聽Europe鈥檚聽enduring love of listening to radio in the car聽

Today, 每日大赛 Audio marks World Radio Day by鈥痡oining鈥痑n unprecedented鈥痙emonstration鈥痮f industry-wide鈥痷nity. In an historic first, the broadcaster has鈥痡oined鈥痬any of鈥疎urope鈥檚鈥痬ost influential鈥痳adio and鈥痑udio operators鈥痶o launch Connected Journeys鈥- 鈥痑鈥痗ampaign鈥痗elebrating the unique joy of listening to the radio in the car.

At the heart of the campaign is a coordinated on-air message鈥攕upported by social聽media聽activity鈥攂roadcast in unison by a diverse,聽broad聽and highly trusted group of broadcasters at a scale never seen before:

  • Across Europe:鈥疶he message will broadcast鈥痮n鈥痑ll鈥104鈥咳沾笕 radio stations across鈥痭ine鈥痙ifferent鈥痗ountries;鈥痶he entire NRJ network in鈥疐rance and elsewhere;鈥痑longside鈥22 other鈥痩eading鈥痓roadcasters鈥痑cross Europe,鈥痠ncluding鈥疪TL and REGIOCAST.
  • Regional firsts:鈥Some countries will see extraordinary market takeovers – Poland, for example will see the campaign run鈥痑cross every鈥痬ajor鈥痳adio station in the country鈥痳eaching鈥78%鈥痮f the population.
  • With聽24鈥痓roadcasters from鈥15鈥痗ountries聽bringing the鈥痚vent鈥痶o life,聽the鈥痗ampaign鈥痺ill鈥痳un across radio stations鈥痶hat鈥痳each鈥180鈥痬illion listeners鈥痚very week,鈥痬aking it鈥痮ne of鈥痶he most鈥痷nique鈥痑nd鈥痠mpactful collective efforts鈥痠n the history of European radio.
